Great Museum, well displayed with interesting and Different Artifacts
We were welcomed into the Lake Tahoe Historical Museum by two of the volunteers as they were cateloging artifacts. First we were impressed by the two original log cabins on the property. Then, as we s...
History in a visit
This museum offers a wealth of history factoids. Some of the exhibits tell an informative history. Manned by volunteers, the gift shop offers a treasure trove of souvenirs.
Don’t bother coming to Tahoe Monday thru Wednesday
Would have loved to visit if only you were open. Ditto everything else historical or educational—all closed Monday through Wednesday

Very nice place to take a walk or bike around. Very beautiful. The black Smith was working in his shop it was nice to talk to him about his work
